Phra Mahakarunathikhun is the virtue of great compassion, one of the three qualities of the Triple Gem and of teachers, alongside wisdom (Phra Panyathikhun) and purity (Phra Borisutthikhun). Because of this virtue, a teacher never refuses to help anyone — in fact, help is already flowing even before it's asked for; asking is simply how the one in need shows their own sincerity.
