Dosa is anger, ill-will, the resentful mind — one of the three unwholesome roots alongside lobha and moha. Its extreme is stark: "the extreme of dosa is starting a war." Its opposite, adosa, is one of the beautiful mental factors that arises together with a wholesome mind.
