A good builder of perfections is someone who works to improve themselves to fit in with others, not someone who tries to force others to fit them. Wanting to control others is the unwholesome at work, often disguising itself as good intentions.

Someone asked why most people think the opposite of this principle — wanting to make others adapt to them, instead of adapting themselves to others.

A good builder of perfections must be someone who thinks only of improving themselves for the better, adjusting themselves to fit with others — not trying to force others to fit them. That most people think the opposite is because they're being guided by . The wholesome teaches us to adjust ourselves; it teaches what is right and good; it teaches that we cannot force anyone — what we should do is be a good example for others. The unwholesome, on the other hand, teaches us to control and dominate others to sfy ourselves; when things don't go our way, it makes us rage, because the unwholesome's aim is always to harm and destroy. It often finds ways to disguise itself as good intentions — "I only say or do this because I care about you" — that's the unwholesome's method: claiming good intentions while actually harming and oppressing others.
