Domanassa is sadness, displeasure, aversion — the seed of irritation, anger, ill-will, and harming others. It pairs with abhijjhā as exactly what the Buddha taught us to see clearly in body, feeling, mind, and dhamma in order to remove. As Luang Pu once put it, this liking-and-disliking "is vicious enough to drive someone mad, or to make them take their own life."
