Consider who actually controls people and all beings. The answer is: wholesome s, unwholesome dhammas, and neutral dhammas — these three govern people and beings, from humans to celestials to brahmas to formless brahmas. Since they govern humans, celestials, and brahmas, they also stand behind and govern all the various "gods." These, then, are the true God. There are unwholesome gods, neutral gods, and wholesome gods. This is why the world is in such turmoil — some gods teach that anyone who doesn't worship them is a sinner; some kinds of gods even forbid women from studying. Consider what kind of god that is. But the god that benefits people and all beings, giving and understanding, giving what is right and good, giving , success, and the fulfillment of life's aspirations — that is only nature. This wholesome god has the Triple Gem overseeing its system, with nibbāna standing behind it. This is the God that grants benefit, happiness, success, fulfillment, rightness, and goodness to people's lives. We should therefore choose the God that gives us good things.
