This brings to mind King Rama IV, who was skilled in astrology. He had a page who was born on the exact same day, year, and time as himself. The King noticed that whenever he received some gift, this page tended to receive something similar around the same time. Once, someone presented him with a white elephant, and when he had the page asked what he had recently received, it turned out he too had received a white cat.

As for whether their personalities matched, that isn't something we can say for certain — and in practice, exact birth times rarely align precisely; usually they're only close. Looking at twins offers a useful comparison: some twin pairs have very similar personalities, while others turn out to be complete opposites. So the claim that people born on the same day always share the same personality cannot be confirmed with certainty.
